Description
[This course will take you about 1hr 30minutes to complete.]

If you are currently caring for an infant under the age of one, or might do so in the future, it is crucial to be aware of the risk factors for SIDS and how to set up safer sleeping practices. In this course you will gain an understanding of:
- What Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is, its prevalence in the UK, and the critical age range when it happens
- The risk and protective factors for SIDS
- How to set up safer sleep practices
- How to navigate various sleeping situations, for example being out and about
